President’s Message from our 100th Anniversary Journal:
As President of our most benevolent Organization, The Assyrian Orphanage and School Association of America, Inc., it gives me great pleasure to extend to everyone my sincere welcome to our Centennial Celebration. I am very proud to have been associated with this prestigious and charitable organization along with my beloved wife, Mary, for 52 years.
Also, as President, it gives me tremendous pleasure when I think of our accomplishments in the last 100 years. We have survived civil wars, world wars, anarchy, and even enemy threats. It seems that nothing can stop us from continuing and hopefully expanding our help to the thousands of needy children and orphans in the Middle East.
I must emphasize all this has been achieved because of the continued support from our Syrian Orthodox Community in the United States, Canada, and other parts of the world. Also, the total loyalty and labor of the members and officers. God Bless all of you for your support of the Assyrian Orphanage and School Association of America, Inc. I hope and pray that we will be able to do bigger and better things for our needy children. Once again, always remember our organization when you think about conditions in the Middle East and the good we can accomplish simply by supporting our own 100 year old Assyrian Orphanage and School Association of America, Inc.
